Through Emergency Financial Assistance, we can assist with Mortgage, rent, and deposits in order to maintain housing for an individual or a family at risk of being evicted or foreclosed.
In addition for families and individuals, we assist financially with overnight shelter. These vouchers are provided through a screening process at:

Through the Continnuum of Care Program, Human Services provides a Case 5 Manager 5 Mornings a week to assist with homeless families.
Vouchers for shelter from Love Chapel are provided through Horizon House (They screen and require those needing shelter to have a police background check. Their services are open 24 hours a day.)
Transportation to Louisville or Indianapolis may be provided for transients (people who are not residence of Bartholomew County) to overnight shelters. Screening for bus tickets can be done through Horizon House.
